Guys help fix this i installed a new windows 8 on my pc but the problem came as i downloaded mini tool partion wizard because i wanted to add on some space on my primary partition where the current operating system was but first i formated the other partition which contained some other old windows 8 at that time i had 2 operating systems so thats y i formated the second partition.
So when i had finished formating it now i extented my primary with some 100GB space and clicked apply mini partion wizard prompt me to restart pc inorder to save changes but as the pc was restarting its stuck on the loading something like a dash as if it wants to load but even it does not show the windows logo i have changed the hard disk to other pc still the same problem i try repairing its as if the system on disk is locked beause in repair options i saw some like the drive on which windows system is installed is locked

watch the video carefully, it has nothing to do with UEFI support

When i try to enter command create partition efi it says the mode efi only supports hard disk in GPT

either convert the hdd to gpt; see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-22517.html OR reinstall windows, when asked to select drive, format the drive where you intend to install windows to. the drive will be formatted to gpt

Using the cmd  command method wont i loose my files on the hhd in attempt to convert to GPT

use the partition master method, you won’t lose your files.
