yes, file format doesn't matter so long as it's lk

I rooted my tablet using magisk then I changed lk image based on suggested method in this thread but my tablet won't boot after flashing new lk. even modifying a single byte in lk image and flashing it tablet cause this issue. What's the problem? 8. Please help me.
tablet model: lenovo tb=7104I with mt8321 chip and android

this is also experienced in nokia 3
there's no fix for this, if modifying a single byte from the keyword causes the device to fail booting then refrain from making any modification to lk
