This guide will explain how to fix missing apps (half icon) on Infinix Qualcomm Android devices after flashing. It could also apply to other brands like Tecno, Itel etc.
In this scenario, you'll observe that some apps are missing after flashing:

One fix is to:
- Backup the EFS / QCN
- Wipe the system partition using Miracle Box (or any tool you choose) by going to Qualcomm tab > Read / Format Flash > Tick Read Partitions > Boot into EDL and connect phone to PC > Click Port > Click Start Button > Tick Wipe Selected > Select ONLY system partition > Click Start Button
- Re-flash the firmware using HQXA
If this doesn't work for you, an easier approach is to:
- Install adb on your PC then enable USB debugging on your phone
- Download the Qualcomm Mode Change tool @ https://mega.nz/#!qpsXjYyS!oKkg1pak9wvUY...aNB1E9A1DI and extract it using 7zip
- Launch SigMod.exe . You'll see two buttons. On the left is 用户模式 (User Mode) and on the right is 工厂模式 (Factory mode). Select User Mode
- You should see Change Mode Success Close Diag Success Lock Diag Success. Reboot the phone after
- Wait while the device starts up. You might see an Encrypting... screen. Wait till its done. If you see Encryption Unsuccessful then boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset
- Once the device boots to home screen, you should now see all your apps
