Please How can I upgrade my windows 8.1 to windows 10 without loosing any files

You could use the Windows update method or download the ISO and install just like you would WIndows 7 or 8 (see https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-inst...em-cd-dvd/ ). just dont format. your files should be saved to Windows.old if you use this method

In the procedure, we were told to choose "Customs: Install windows only" hope that option won't erase all the files?

your files would only be erased if you FORMAT or DELETE the partition during installation

Certain applications installed by your PC or tablet maker may need to be removed before the upgrade. For your data security, you had better backup your data using easeus todo backup.
