TWRP Recovery for Lenovo K5 Play L38011 (Treble Supported)

HOW TO BOOT/INSTALL TWRP RECOVERY

Installation By PC

1. Install fastboot tools - minimal adb and fastboot

2. Download lenovo k5 play file...Open the folder and copy the RECOVERY.img file to the Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder

3. Boot the device to fastboot mode - press and hold power button and volume down button

4. Connect device to PC

5. Open command prompt from Minimal ADB and Fastboot

6. Run the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"

7. TWRP recovery will be flashed into recovery partition

8. To boot in to twrp run the command "fastboot boot RECOVERY.img" or disconnect the device from the PC then press and hold vol up + power button

9. Device will be boot into twrp

How to Decrypt Data

• Open the lenovo k5 play folder then copy Decrypt patch Zip file into an OTG or external SD card
  
• Boot into twrp >> Go to wipe section in twrp and tap on Format data (Important, Do not wipe data partiton , you have to format it)
  
• After formatting, tap install > install zip then flash the Decrypt zip from your sdcard
  
• After flashing, Wipe cache partition
  
• Reboot the phone
