I just noticed that I can't find the hibernation option on my pc. I tried some alternatives which when unplugged, the hibernation option comes up but when plugged, it disappears.

Sleep 

Restart 

Lock 

Shutdown

try using cmd prompt to hibernate your pc
"shutdown /h"
