This step-by-step guide will explain how to fix invalid IMEI using adb

Warning! It is illegal to change your IMEI from the original (on the back) to another so you are entirely responsible for how you choose to use this guide

Requirements

Steps on how to fix invalid IMEI on an MTK android device using ADB

Follow the steps below to fix invalid IMEI on a mediatek android phone using ADB

Setup adb and fastboot on your PC using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-588.html
Connect the rooted phone to the PC
Type in the commands below into adb CMD prompt window and hit Enter after each line
adb shellsu
Check your phone's screen and grant root permission
To write sim 1 IMEI, type the command below and hit Enter [you're to replace 123456789012345 with the original IMEI gotten from the back of the phone after taking out the battery]

Code:

echo 'AT +EGMR=1,7,"123456789012345"'>/dev/radio/pttycmd1
To write sim 2 IMEI, type the command below and hit Enter [you're to replace 123456789012345 with the original IMEI gotten from the back of the phone after taking out the battery]

Code:

echo 'AT +EGMR=1,10,"123456789012345"'>/dev/radio/pttycmd1
Restart the phone and confirm if invalid IMEI has been fixed

Important Notice

Your phone must be rooted for this method to stand a chance of working
The command used here might not work on your device. If it doesn't, then try other methods
If ADB doesn't detect your device, then ensure to see the fix
You can type and send the commands using Terminal Emulator directly on your phone without using a PC, but don't include the 'adb shell' command

only one way to find out, factory reset the phone in question then check

Check point no. 6, it explained how to write for sim 2.
