I really need to root my tecno cx. To do this, I went through the guide provided by the forum. https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html
it was not easy to Dump the hall Rom_1 ... The SPF tool did not have the necessary DA for readback (new version MT6750T of the DROID INFO REPORT)
finally i was able to find the DA and it worked perfectly.
I get the full dumped partition’s. Now it is a question of continuing the procedure for rooting my tecno cx.
First i need the opportunity to check whether the boot Rom is ok
Because after the end of the dump procedure the scatter files was MT6755 and not MT675T.
(Patching the boot.img stock whit MagiskManager apk do not work for me also).
I'm just afraid of not bricking up my tecno cx again, that's why I need your help...

only way to really tell if you backup rom works is to flash it onto your device
and you need to explain what you meant by patched boot and magisk didnt work for you; did you encounter an error?

magisk is "unable to unpack the boot.img" that is the error Hint...may an guide for the patch boot.img.

this file isn't an android image file. its either you re-do the backup and ensure to follow the procedures properly OR you dump firmware using a hardware box / dongle

PS: its costly buying a dongle for operation on a single device, you might want to consider looking for someone with access to one to help you get a working firmware dump
