Hello friends !

Please I need your help. I have noticed that the latest version of sp flash tool requests for "authentication file" before flashing. Please help me with the authentication file so that I can flash an infected tecno w4.

You don't need an .auth file to flash tecno w4, Authentication File is only used for security download.
Just download the firmware for W4 @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-311.html and see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html for how to use sp flash tool.

Thank you for your reply. I later found out that the phone was a cloned tecno w4. I installed spreadtrum drivers, downloaded the PAC file and used upgrade tool to flash the phone.
