After selecting rom_1 in step 20 i did not receive any prompt to input preloader, (dumping infinix note 5 mt6763)

The MTK tool doesn't have my phone chipset which is MT6763v..

What do I do?

At the bottom of the list you have an option "Add.." click that and you can add your chipset.

do as @isrgish mentioned above and you're to add MT6763 not MT6763v

I try to read back with sp flash too and I keep getting this error,

"ERROR: STATUS_PRELOADER_INVALID (0×C0030004)

The Preloader file format is invalid!
[Hint]!
Please retry another official load.

But the scatter file is for my phone
