Now that root can be finally obtained on my Oukitel wp5-pro, I wonder if there are any news about [Hovatek] Mediatek Auto TWRP Recovery Porter.
Version 1.7a still doesn't work with my Android 10 phone.

There is no harm in testing a recovery file: worst case scenario it won't work. I'm willing to be a tester.
PS As of today to my knowledge there is only one twrp recovery port for the wp5-pro and is available at https://unofficialtwrp.com/. However it is buggy. It starts only after a factory reset (don't know why), but it won't start a second time (it gets stuck at the twrp logo).

I just found out that TWRP v 3.5.0 has been released with support for Android 10. Maybe it's time for an update to Mediatek Auto TWRP Recovery Porter?
