How to use Magisk Manager & boot.img to root Android

Thank you very much for providing this. Yet unfortunately I got fail result.
I have Infinix hot 9 play mt6567 with android 10 and build number:
X680B-H6215EFIJ-Q-OP-200629V139
I followed all steps, replace vbmeta.bin and flash patched boot.img, no error occured. But after flashing, magisk shows that my phone still get no root installed

my won't stay connected for me to get the boot.img for patching and couldn't find the exact stock ROM online

I did chat up Blackview Customer Services on Skype asking for ROM for my exact model and build number and I got this link

method 7 @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16005.html will tell you the build number of the firmware then you can confirm if it matches your phone's current build number
