this guide doesn't support boot.img from android 8 up, as they don't contain file_context within their boot.img
what's your device model and android version?

this depends on a good number of things but in general, unless you've actually tried the twrp before getting brick and it works then now isn't a good time to be testing reviving your device using twrp and you should create a thread for your device rather than resurrecting old threads
