[Downloads] Tecno Y2 Stock ROM | Firmware and Component Files

Why are they singled out or in what circumstances are they used for rather than downloading the full ROM?
generally
Boot & Recovery: root & custom recovery
LK / uboot: fixing white, black, distorted screen
Logo: changing phone logo or reverting back to stock rom if you already changed
Scatter.txt: needed to flash the rest of the files
Preloader.bin: fixing totally dead phones due to incompatible firmware (comes handy when you dont know the build number of the phone and wish to test different firmwares pending you find a working preloader before trying the rest of the files)
Secro & NVRAM: fixing unknown baseband and invalid imei

Thanks a lot now am getting the clear picture. So if the preloader works, the rest of the files will work.

might work,
say there are three or more variants for a certain model, and two variants have more in common
preloader might be the same and flashing it will allow the phone to at least power on
if you proceed to flash the remaining files and it works then good, if it doesn't then you know its not the exact build probably just has common component files
so lets say lk.bin isn't the same, therefore flashing the remain files results to white or distorted screen but you can hear the boot sound and even hear the haptic sounds when you unlock the screen, instead of downloading full firmwares to try. you can now try other lk.bin files from other variants till you get the screen to display properly
in conclusion, a working preloader means you can try the rest of the files or even the full firmware but it doesn't necessarily mean it will work unless of course its the right build number of the phone
