[Tutorial] How do i root the Tecno Camon CX Air

If your bootloader is not locked(encrypted), you can try "systemless root" method. So, check if your device's bootloader is locked or not. Just google for both for the instruction. Since you have MT67xx device with Android 7.0, apps like MTK Droid tool, Miracle Box or SP Flash tool would not work on your device. These apps are outdated and your device is pretty new. Also all the one click rooting apps would not work on your device as well. You could try. If you cannot find the instructions, then let me know.

Is your device popular in your country? If it is, then be patient. There will be one in the future. Good thing is you were able unlock the bootloader.

Yours is a higher Build Number.
We'll need the recovery.img (or .bin) extracted from your phone.
