use the search bar at the top of the forum, you can search for the keyword "backup spd"
if you don't have a box / dongle, then you can try the miracle box backup method

Hi everyone. Let me start by thanking hovatek for sharing these tools with us.
I have an Odea S11_EEA tablet with a Unisoc T606 SoC, I'm trying to perform a full nandroid bakup with Research Download Tool following instructions from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHNeLCITJko

Everything works until it's time to backup the userdata partition. When it's almost done, it fails with the following error:
Failed: [UB2258]Decode or verify received buffer error
I'm using the latest version available for download here, namely version R27.24.2301, tried version R25 as well but that fails to verify right at the start when I connect my tablet. Any way to fix that, please?
Thanks in advanced

EDIT: I should mention every time I try it seems to fail at the same exact point, and it generates a userdata_COM3.img of 3.99GB. Isn't that suspicious, as if somewhow it can't go past 4GB or something?

I'm guessing you're not backing up to a FAT32-formatted storage device.
Exclude userdata and see if the backup works fine (especially super/system)

It's a NTFS hard drive I'm saving the backup to. Super completes fine at 5.46GB, so it doesn't look like a 4GB limitation.

Apart of userdata, I also get an error backing up both SPLLoaders: u-boot-spl-16k-emmc-sign.bin and u-boot-spl-16k-ufs-sign.bin.
For those, the error is

FAILED: [DL1210]Read Flash Failed

All other partitions work fine

Userdata has encryption anyway, so it might be unusable when flashed back.
If you've rooted, then you can use adb to dump it instead

It's not rooted. I couldn't find any info on how to root this Odea S11. I got it from the Teclast store in Aliexpress, not sure if Teclast is rebranding to Odea, or it's a brand they're selling now for some reason, but I'll have to do some research to figure out how to root it, if even possible. But if userdata can't be restored I may not even bother, since that was the whole purpose of performing a full backup.
Thanks, max
