Have you rooted the phone?

That means the recovery isn't being flashed.
Try booting into TWRP from fastboot using 
Code:

fastboot boot recovery.img

 Let me know if you're stillable to enter TWRP

I flashed cwm recovery instead, and now it is functioning. I had problems with twrp after i flash it- it freezes. I tried to wiping dalvik and cache but the problem was still there . Thanks Hovatek for the custom recovery and rooting. I now enjoy unlimited customization.
