If the battery in your MTK Android (e.g Tecno, Gionee, Infinix, Opsson, Innjoo etc ) phone  wont charge beyond a certain percentage, here's how to resolve it
  1. Remove the battery and hold down the power button for 30 seconds
  2. Slot in the battery then flash Clockworkmod custom recovery to the phone
  3. Boot the phone into recovery mode
  4. In recovery mode, Select Advanced
  5. Select Wipe battery stats
  6. Reboot the phone

Hi. I have a problem with my tecno M3 power management. It usually gives wrong stats on the power remaining. It also gives the same stats(power remaining) on 2 diff batteries, even when one is full and other nearly drained. I've tried to calibrate the battery but no luck.

If wiping battery stats as stated in the tutorial doesnt resolve it the consider flashing the Tecno M3 stock ROM to the phone
