I've been using windows vista, and have installed antivirus yesterday. I did nothing except to run antivirus and my cpu usage has been burst to 95%. I checked the log of the task manager and found that svchost is taking too much cpu resources.
I looked on google to resolve the problem and found this https://techloris.com/svchost-exe-high-cpu/ and did exact steps and my cpu usage has been reduced to 50%.
Still, I think 50% cpu usage is too much, I have installed only avast. Don't know if it is the problem with the antivirus or windows?
Any help would be so appreciated?

Does CPU usage drop when you kill your Antivirus? Also, have you done your first full scan?

Thanks for your reply back.

It actually went down to 40% after a full scan. idk, now should I uninstall it or it's because of something else?

what was the cpu usage before you installed the AV?
you can uninstall AV just to find out the CPU usage without it
