HTC ONE SHOWING INVALID SIM
Pls admin, this site is nice & comprehensive. With the help you admin, i was able to bring back my Tecno M3 to live.
But now, am having a little problem.
A friend of mine has HTC ONE M7 SPRINT. He upgraded version OS to 4.4.2 & since then the fone has been displaying INVALID SIM.
We have rooted it, unlocked bootloader & all we can but still no success.
Pls admin, help me out. Thanks

did he / she flash a 4.4 custom rom or was it an official release?

go to settings > about and lets know if it shows a Baseband and IMEI

a number of people have had issues after upgrading to kitkat on HTC One. let's run some diagnosis
1. Have you ever encountered this issue before the update?
2. Have you tried other networks sim cards ?
3. Are you sure the sim is making firm contact with the sim tray (most common cause)?
4. Have you tried turning airplane mode on and off?
5. Have you tried restarting the phone
6. Have you disabled Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

you'll need to consider downgrading the os to the previous one then. google for the ruu file for your model
