ok. what and what have you downloaded so far? just google MTK droid tools v2. 5.3

You are STRONGLY advised to use the method @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-455.html to flash clockwokrmod recovery your phone else you could make things worse for both phones. Do an MTK backup using this guide @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-468.html before flashing Clockworkmod recovery

Now, lets take it one step at a time so you dont get confused.
1. Root the good M3 using framaroot (see http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-1.html)
2. Do an MTK backup of the good M3 using pdanet and ,tk droid tools (see http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-468.html )

lets know when both are done
