the files are likely incompatible. what version of MTK droid tools did you backup the good L3 phone with?

try this. Open the clockworkmod backup on your PC and copy the system folder (inside system.tar) to your phone's memory card . Now, using ROM toolbox or any root explorer app, replace the content of the phone's system folder with the content of the system folder on your memory card then restart the phone

i have done this, but while i was copying to the /system with root explorer, the phone went off and rebooted and now google services n other app are not working n the custom rom is still intact

re-flash the custom ROM. this time around, replace just the contents of the system/apps folder

I DID THIS AND THE SCREEN TURN BLANK WHITE, tried restarting but did not restart. i had to reflash the rom

The download goes upto 341 mb out of 342 then stops. Reason being unknown error
