how can Device not supporting System-as-root get custom ROM

Having a device that I've been trying to use a custom ROm on it,
Blackview BV9600pro
Andriod 8.1
ARM64
A-Only Operating syetem, not Supporting System-as-root
Have it rooted with magisk patched-stock-boot-image, removed encryption, resized partition....Thanks to Hovatek webpages and kelvinchinedu Respected Member of the Hovatek forum.
I;ve tried RR ROM, LineageOS and Havoc-OS but most that should match my phone type just end up in boot loop after passing the Orange Mode and Brand logo the get stock on their own logo.
Later learnt it's because my phone does not Supporting System-as-root and that's probably because I'm flashing them to the boot partition.
PLEASE IS THERE ANY WAY AROUND THIS?

you'll find the type of gsi you can try, ensure to factory reset the device after flashing any rom
and also note that there's no guarantees any rom will work for you, you'll just have to try other roms if one doesn't

Thanks very much, but factory reset using TWRP after installing the cousin ROM, do you mean I just tap format data and swipe in TWRP?
If not, which partitions should I have to select in advance to wipe?

Lol... The phone be try for age oh, just the update that's seeming forbidden, no wonder not many subscribe to using it despite all the hardware packed into it.
If I know how I'd have built my own ROM for it lol cause other than camera they phone is a working rock.
