First let me thank you for creating this helpful forum where us tech enthusiasts can get help from.
I unlocked my Vida M2 mifi following the guide posted here
https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-31859.html. After successfully unlocking it, when I insert another sim card, the mifi works for only a couple of minutes then locks itself up again. I again unlock it, the same thing happens. My question is, could it be that my device cannot be permanently unlocked?

if you happen to find a permanent solution then great, if not then you'll have to use the temp unlock and refrain from restarting the mifi (it triggers the lock)
