How can I access files from my Hard Drive

My HDD recently crashed and I cant access the files, they are very important files and contains over 6 years of all my works. When I connect it to my laptop it doesn't even show, sometimes it would show as USB drive D: but inaccessible. It can't even be seen in Disk Management. Can I fix the hard drive? If No, how can I retrieve all my files in it.? I'm almost crying here typing this.

you could try using EaseUS Data Recovery software, no guarantee you'll be able to recovery any file or that file integrity would be a 100%
btw use mini partition tool, are you able to detect the hdd?

check and ensure that the device driver is properly installed in device manager, also try using a different hdd reader / adapter
if you still can't detect the hdd then the hdd clearly is gone. nothing you can do about it unless maybe you find a professional hdd recovery service
