bricked as in totally dead? if yes, then
was the flashing attempt successful with a green tick?
if yes, then did you try disconnecting / reconnecting the battery of the device?

(12-04-2020, 02:15 AM)taguotafe Yes , flashing process was succesful wuth a green tick. As the phone has a built-in battery I didn't disconnect and reconnect it. Just tried power it on right after flash completion.
disassemble the back cover of the device and disconnect / reconnect the battery clip of the device then attempt to charge and power it on
