[SOLUTION] to fix touch not working on TWRP / Philz due to kernel disabled touch
(09-08-2019, 10:38 AM)Rino74 I try to read and fix this as mutch as possible my self but there is a question about some posts with screenshots, as newbie i read and watch these to see what to do but the one about the ARM 64bit by SachinBorkar (03-31-2019, 06:02 PM) he shows in those pictures how to work with the boot.img file to patch the kernel? but on the first page all the kernel patching is pictured with recovery.img file? When I was solving this problem I have only 32bit phone but we solved this problem on 64bit phone also and tutorial is also posted by me can't you see.
and what i read in the pdf it's not even handle the 64bit only 32 ( i guess there will be an update later about 64 bit)
Is it both files or just one that need to get fixed?
thanks anyway for great help and great information.
(09-08-2019, 10:55 AM)Rino74 Yea i can see that it was from you SachinBorkar but my question is about recovery and boot file, on the first page it's about to patch the kernel from the recovery.img file but then on side 9 where you talk about the 64bit you have screenshot and talk about kernel from the boot.img file, so what i just wonder is, do i need to do both boot and recovery file? The both kernels are same no matter which file you use either boot.img or recover.img kernel have same see sizes.
(09-08-2019, 10:58 AM)SachinBorkarI patched only kernel so the name of boot.img may misguide you just stop thinking about it and do what I did in boot.img to your recovery.img(09-08-2019, 10:55 AM)Rino74 Yea i can see that it was from you SachinBorkar but my question is about recovery and boot file, on the first page it's about to patch the kernel from the recovery.img file but then on side 9 where you talk about the 64bit you have screenshot and talk about kernel from the boot.img file, so what i just wonder is, do i need to do both boot and recovery file? The both kernels are same no matter which file you use either boot.img or recover.img kernel have same see sizes.
