Hello,
It's been 2 weeks I am trying to make the fingerprint options show on my Leagoo Power 5, that has a 6763V SOC.
It happened after I installed TWRP and formatted the data the first time. After that, I have reinstalled both stock firmware that exist for this device, but no chance to see this feature. I formatted it and did that more than 20 times.
I even installed other firmware like AOSP, AEX, Havok OS, Lineage OS 16, but no one of all these was able to see the fingerprint settings inside Android (not existing).
I noticed that another user of Leagoo Power 2 has opened a thread in this forum, and he has the same issue.
Could it be that there is a fingerprint partition hidden in the system, that might deleted or corrupted, or something like that?
I tried to use logcat, while touching the fingerprint and I get several errors, which means the hardware is working, but it must be a software issue.
I have attached the output of the logcat file, where it shows HAL issues.
Would appreciate if anybody has any idea how to solve this.
PS: I am focusing on the fact that I have used both versions of the stock firmware and it never worked (20180727 and 20181129).

whats the original build number of the device? and have you tried flashing the stock firmware of the original build?

The original build was the 20181129) and it did not work.

if you flashed the stock firmware for that exact build and fingerprint still doesnt work then its likely a hardware problem

I am 100% percent sure it is not a hardware issue, as it was working when I bought it and it stopped just after I unlocked the boot loader, flashed the TWRP and then formatted the phone.

Do you know the phone’s build when fingerprint was working and did you try flashing firmware for that build?

that's no guarantees that the hardware hasn't grown faulty especially after you've already flashed the same firmware build that fingerprint worked on previous but can you get access to another power 5 device with fingerprint working? if yes then backup firmware from the phone then restore onto your phone then check the fingerprint.

Hi again, after searching for days and contacting Leagoo support I found out that the Tee partition had a kind code inside it for the device to be certified with Google and this was erased on my phone, so I provided them a REQ file and they sent me that code and after I flashed it worked fine.
If anybody is interested, I can make a short tutorial on how I did that Wink

Posting a tutorial is a good idea, it would help others who will encounter such problem later.
