they are still stock roms nontheless and you can update your phone directly from system updates in setting

I want to root my infinix X608 (systemless) by patching the boot image. Can I still update my phone when I already rooted it?

performing system update on a rooted android phone will result to a bricked phone

So If I didn't update my phone after rootin it, I'm good to go? Thanks! New updates from InfinixHot6Pro now are quite disappointing.

Exactly, and you still have the option of making firmware backup before rooting then restore backup before updating then reroot

ROM (X608-QL1661ABCDEF-O-180720V19) don't have Cache.img and Userdata.img in full stock rom.
