So far i have searched alot on the internet but i have never found a way to determine which algo ver does a modem have. My aim is not just on getting the codes but also being precise so that we don't make mistakes on generating the codes and apply them on a locked modem.

Suppose we have a modem that has only 1 attempt left and we don't know which algo it supports, then it's goin to be hard to use the last chance properly.

So please anyone who has a solution for this please share it if possible.

Kind regards,

Hamad.

Not that i'm aware of any such methods to decipher which algo to use but for some models, you can search online certain websites that provide unlock code in the past might have provided unlock code for the model and the user who requested for the code might also have confirmed it worked

if you have 1 last trial, simply recalc the unlock codes using the imei the user provided then verify which algo the user confirms to have worked OR more preferably, unlock using tools that perform direct unlock e.g dc unlocker, nck box pro, etc

Thanks X3non for your contribution, but i was expecting to have a way to use an imei of the device and decide which algo it supports. For the case of devices which have alot of attempts remaining that's not a big deal especially when you have the device directly that's pretty easy even if it only 1 attempt left.

So do you want to tell me that those people selling codes out there they just know which algo it supports by only frequency of success stories (after attempts and observing which models support which algo) and not by just using imei of a particular device?

Kind regards.

can't say for sure, only them (the people selling codes) can tell. just don't forget they might have been doing so for years and already accumulated a list of devices and their algo
