Hello,

It's me, again[Image: wink.gif].

So now, I'm working on porting twrp to my device.
But I have a new issue.

First, this is a shoot of my stock recovery (Yes, Tecno gotta kidding me[Image: sad.gif]) : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmUA1o5VkY3XkXqM4E74qkXKXEAs

Anyway, I've used your own auto twrp porter v1.1 and it has successfully ported twrp !
Then I flash it through my bootloader (using fastboot) and it successfully boots too.
But the problem is that : touchscreen doesn't work and I'm blocked in the Decrypt data screen (which request a password that I don't know). I can't do anything !
There is a screen shot here : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmUA1o5VkY3XkXt1zrk4HOt2NM81

Also, when I reboot and return to recovery (either with adb or by holding vol up + power), my stock recovery comes back ! Weird right ? And I have to flash twrp again to come back to twrp interface.

Please help me fix it.

If you need some files (I guess it[Image: biggrin.gif]) :
- my stock firmware is here (it contains the stock recovery) : https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-24138.html
but we need only the recovery, so this is a link for it : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1imIMHW...4Xj_hC7D1U
- this is the ported twrp (my android version is Oreo 8.1 go and my chipset is mt6737) : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TAajWL...7dgqgV8SFU

Thank you for advance !

Bro only jemi that can fix that bug the process is long

Cause maybe he own teamwin recovery

you need to decompile your kernel with the twrp input touch kernel

my only adevice for now use philz recovery it will work perfectly

as for the reboot and go back to stock recovery

in fastboot you are not flashing the twrp recovery into your phone whereas you are just booting it up

here is your code

fastboot boot recovery recovery.img

it will only boot the recovery bro

try using these code

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

you can as will use otg with mouse it well work for you sir

The recovery image's needs to be patched to fix the touch issue. We're working on a guide for that.

Try this command n fastboot and let me know if touch issue persists
1. Boot ithe recovery from fastboot
Code:

fastboot boot recovery.img

and

2. Flash recovery to the boot partition
Code:

fastboot flash boot recovery.img

Dude, I'm sure that I used the flash command instead of boot command, because I have followed a step by step tutorial to flash TWRP.

But yes, if it's impossible to fix it for me and as you advised me, please have you a link or a tuto for a Philz recovery porter to my device (I can't use hovatek Philz porter because it doesn't support Android 8.1 go)

Thanks for your advice.

The recovery image's needs to be patched to fix the touch issue. We're working on a guide for that.

Try this command n fastboot and let me know if touch issue persists
1. Boot ithe recovery from fastboot
Code:

fastboot boot recovery.img

and

2. Flash recovery to the boot partition
Code:

fastboot flash boot recovery.img

So, I followed your step and :

1- it do anything, just normal boot and I arrived to system.

2- YEEEESSS, it boots successfully to TWRP and touch works but TWRP is in read-only mode (because it asks for a password that I mentioned earlier and that I don't know what is it). But now, I can't access to system and it always directly boot in TWRP (even after restarting the system by pressing power button). So I have to flash the stock boot to back everything to normal.
Because it is in read only mode, I think I can't do anything (I tried to do a nandroid backup but it failed), am I right ?

yes bro use the philz auto recovery patcher

link

https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21495.html

But it doesn't support my Android version (8.1 go). But still, I've tried the tool by telling it that I'm running Nougat and ..... doesn't work after flash the philz recovery.

Any other porter or tuto ?

which android version did you select while porting?
when you booted into twrp, did you perform any operation at all? [format, flash zip, e.t.c]
when exiting twrp and if asked by twrp to install root, did you select yes?

Of course, I selected Android 8.1 go in TWRP porter (by taping "8.1g").
In TWRP, I just tried to do nandroid backup and TWRP sent me an error. I'm too worry to format my phone because I'll loose my data but I'll try to flash Magisk that night if I can, and gain root access (I'll send you also the error I have when I try to do the backup).
When I taped the reboot button, and whatever I choosed after, TWRP redirected me to a screen that I have to slide to accept but I couldn't read because, for whatever reason, my phone instantly reboot and I came back to TWRP, again.
