Thanks for this wonderful update. Have read much about magisk but i have not tried it before cos SuperSU is there for me.

What's the main advantage of this tool over supersu?

Magisk supports modules which you can use to add extra features. It also helps pass SafetyNet checks after rooting

yes, assuming the scatter file you have is for your build and is SPft compatible

I do not know why, but on my device Advan G1 PRO (local brand) MT6737 Android 6.0 works and others does not
