when ever i turn on wifi the phone freezes and i have to remove the battery, i have formatted the phone and it didn't solve the issue please how can i resolve this problem

dont know if it has been rooted before cause i bought it from someone.though i have tried factory reset and it still gives the same problem.thanks for your replies so far
