The Gionee A1 (e.g A1 0301 V6107) is powered by the MT6755 (Mediatek Helio P10) SoC and runs on Android 7 (Nougat).
How can I root my Gionee A1?
There are two main steps:
- Unlocking the Bootloader of the Gionee A1
- Flashing the Hovatek Philz recovery.img and SuperSU.zip
- Download either custom recovery for Gionee A1 below:
- Philz for Gionee A1 ported by Team Hovatek @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4S-Z72...N5a0U/view
- TWRP for Gionee A1 ported by Team Hovatek @ https://mega.nz/#!UTAVSDIC!2OibN1-NyD5QO...InSGDNR7tU
- Setup ADB and Fastboot on the PC using the guide at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-588.html
- Extract and copy the Philz recovery.img into the same folder as the fastboot.exe and adb.exe
- Unlock the Bootloader of the Gionee A1 using the guide at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-18616.html
- Download SuperSU 2.78.zip at https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457084094631642692
- Copy SuperSU.zip to the phone's External storage (SD card)
- Connect the phone to the PC via USB cord while switched On and boot it into Fastboot (as instructed in the Bootloader unlock guide; don't forget to re-enable OEM unlocking and USB Debugging)
- When the phone enters Fastboot, load the Philz recovery to the phone by typing the command below then pressing Enter
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img- The phone should automatically boot into Philz recovery mode
- In Philz recovery, you use the Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to select
- Select Install Zip
- Navigate to the location of the SuperSU2.78.zip on the SD Card and select it
- Wait till flashing is complete
- If you are prompted to fix root, select No
- Reboot the phone normally
- Confirm Root by installing and running Root Checker

what about formatting total i`m unable to wipe boot i need to install custom roms in this device please help me to get that much closer

what to do for navigation buttons & fingerprint issue now plz help.
Is it editing Build.prop that caused this? If yes then the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/blog/how-to-stop...oid-phone/ doesn't require editing build.prop

which particular recovery gave you this error message?
and did you try the alt custom recovery?
