[Please help] USB OTG

I bought a USB otg cable and I'm using tecno f8 which has mount external USB function, but since I've gotten d cable nothing connect to my phone trough d cable I tried it on a infinix it worked pls is there any app that need to be installed b4 it will work or suggest any other options thanks

i dont think the F8 supports OTG

i dont think the F8 supports OTG
