How to fix '..cannot delete or rename file/folder; name too long for..'

If you get an error saying a file/folder name (or file path) is too long for recycle bin or that Windows cannot rename the file/folder because its name is too long then you can bypass this restriction using 7zip .
- Download 7zip
- Install it and launch the 7-zip file manager
- Navigate to the folder / file in the file manager
- Rename or delete it (whichever you were trying to do)
- If prompted if you're sure you want to proceed, click Yes
