If you accidentally deleted a system app or file like SMS, radio, contacts, phone etc from the /system folder and wish to restore it the here's how to go about it:

Note: This guide assumes the phone is still rooted, able to boot to home screen, install apps and you have apk(s) you'd uninstallled
  1. Get the file(s) / app(s) you wish to restore
  2. Copy the file(s) / app(s) to the phone's memory card
  3. Install ROM Toolbox Lite (download @ https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...ty.toolbox) on the phone
  4. Launch ROM Toolbox and grant Super User permission
  5. Select Root Browser in ROM Toolbox
  6. Scroll down to Sdcard and select it
  7. Locate the app(s) / file(s) copied to the SD card, longpress and select copy
  8. Press the green arrow button at the top to exit the Sdcard directory
  9. Open the /system/apps folder
  10. Paste the app(s) / file(s) into the apps folder
  11. To set file permissions, long press the file and select Permissions
  12. Reboot the phone

  13. Note: You can use the same method to replace files on other directories.
