I am on Color OS 6 Android 9 , locked bootloader and not rooted and I want to flash Android 10 RMUI.

Do I need to unlock bootloader and use SP Flashtool to flash the archive rom.

Do I need to untick the preloader.bin and opporeserve2 before flashing regardless that I am on official working state Android 9 Color OS 6?

You should unlock the bootloader.
You can untick preloader and opporeserve2 when flashing

You won't need these if you're using fastboot
