This guide will explain how to backup your Windows PC's drivers using Double Driver. It'll come in handy for users with rare drivers (like Dual OS / touchscreen tablets) and those looking to format their PCs for a fresh install.

Steps to backup your drivers


Follow the steps below to back up your Windows drivers using Double Drivers

  1. Launch dd.exe

  2. Click Backup

  3. Click Scan Current System

  4. You should see a list of drivers on your PC

  5. Click the checkbox in front of any driver you wish to include in your backup

  6. If you wish to select all drivers, click Select > All

  7. Click Backup Now

  8. To change the directory where your backup will be saved to, click the Browse Icon > Choose the Directory > Click OK

  9. Choose your backup output format; select Compressed (zipped) folder if you're uncertain what to choose. Click OK

  10. Wait while your drivers are backed up

  11. You should get a success prompt once the backup is complete. Click OK

  12. Check the directory you selected for your driver backup
