I'm new to cell phone repair and have never worked with UFS, EDL, or test points. I have an Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G (CPH2625) that boots up for a few seconds and then reboots. Recovery mode doesn't work, and fastboot is very unstable. My goal is to reinstall the operating system to check whether the problem is just software corruption or if the UFS is damaged.

I can’t flash via fastboot or recovery, and I know this model requires the OFP Tool with Oppo authorization to flash in EDL. I don’t know how to force Qualcomm 9008 mode or how to verify if the UFS is partially dead. As a beginner, I need guidance on how to proceed: how to enter EDL, how to reinstall the operating system on this model, and how to confirm whether the UFS is damaged or if it’s just a software issue.

Thank you very much

Oppo Reno 12 Pro CPH2625 is a MediaTek device. In its present state, you can use tools like TFM Tool. ISP tools like F64 would come in handy if preloader auth flashing isn't an option.
