Hi everyone,

I have a Motorola Moto G35 5G XT2433-5, codename manila, Unisoc ums9620_2h10.

The phone was hard bricked after a Chimera FRP/Testpoint attempt. At first Chimera detected it only as Unknown Unisoc. After building PAC files from the official Motorola firmware, Chimera can now read the phone correctly:

Model: moto g35 5G
Device code: manila
Android 14
Build: UOAS34.216-230-1

I flashed successfully with Chimera:

boot_a / boot_b
init_boot_a / init_boot_b
vendor_boot_a / vendor_boot_b
dtbo_a / dtbo_b
uboot_a / uboot_b
sml_a / sml_b
trustos_a / trustos_b
teecfg_a / teecfg_b
all vbmeta partitions
super
modem / ch_sys / pm_sys
misc

Chimera finishes without error, but the phone still does not enter Fastboot. It always comes back as SPRD U2S Diag / BROM.

ResearchDownload direct flashing fails at FDL2: Verify error.

Important: Chimera never shows or flashes splloader / SPLLoaderUFS, even when it is included in the PAC.

My question:
How can I write or repair splloader / GPT / early boot stage on this Motorola Unisoc device without ISP?

Any advice would be appreciated.

...

There should be more than these in the firmware you downloaded.
Do a test backup in Chimera, just to confirm it reads and dumps from the phone OK
Since you have another working phone, why not dump its firmware? Unless you do not wish to disassemble it.

(26-06-2026, 02:10 PM)hovatek ..

thank you for your reply.

Just as an update: I found a free program called Android Utility Pro, and it solved the problem in about 5 seconds.

The phone is working again now, so I did not need to continue with the Chimera backup/test process.

Thanks again for your help.

Yes, it has some dead boot repair for Moto.
Glad it worked for you
