Hello. I have a Kyocera KY-42C and I began encountering an issue after I applied a firmware update. Before, mtkclient worked fine, and I was able to root my device. After, mtkclient will not work, the bootloader became locked again, and fastboot will not permit me to unlock it. I have a backup of every partition on my device from before the update, but I cannot flash them back to the device without mtkclient, and I can't perform an unlock with fastboot! Any ideas? Thanks

Can you still enter BROM?

It doesn't seem like it. I can get into the MT56xx Preloader, but it doesn't look like I can go from there to the BROM DL.

The security patch and kernel has been increase thus u can't use mtkclient anymore and u can't go back to previous backup because if u those the device will go dead and only way to recover it is through 64 or test point

I advise u go and get 6 hours rented unlock tool or tsm pro tool if u know the ROM u update to is still 2023-2024 patch
