Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me out with a screen issue I'm facing after flashing my S10 clone with MT6580. I've tried using different preloaders, but each has caused a different problem. Here's what happened:

When I flashed the rom with the original preloader of the phone (preloader_aeon6580_weg_l_l100.bin), the screen didn't show anything.
After flashing this rom with the preloader that came with the ROM (preloader_boway6580_weg_gm_l.bin), the screen started showing random colors. The touch functionality still works, though, and I can interact with the phone, but the screen is unusable due to the color glitches.
I tried flashing different roms and lk.bins thinking it was just a lcd driver mismatch but got no success. I either got black backlit screens or different colours screen.

The firmware I flashed was MT6580__alps__boway6580_weg_gm_l__boway6580_weg_gm_l__5.1__ALPS.L1.MP6.V2.19_BOWAY6580.WEG.GM.L_P8.rar.
Does anyone have experience with this type of issue or any suggestions on how I can fix the screen behavior?

I would really appreciate any help or advice. Thanks in advance!

The multi-colored screen is clearly a result of an incompatible firmware or LK at least.
You can combine different files in the different firmware.
How many different firmwares do you have, and what happens when you flash each?

i tried more then 10 and none of the lk.bin fix the issue which makes me think its not only a lk issue and maybe a preloader issue because with the original preloader that came with the phone shows a black screen with that firmware but when i flash the prelaoder that comes with the firmware/rom the screen boots to life but just with random colours

Also on the flashlight cable on the motherboard it has text that says kt610_ft and underneath says fpc_v1.0. I can't really tell because it's kind of rubbed out. I would send a image but I think I can't send images over 2 mb

Speaking of the 10 firmware...did you flash the entire firmware or you only flashed the LK in each firmware?

I only flashed lk.bin because i didn't want to flash preloader because it might fully brick my phone and i would have to use test points to flash and i dont want to do that
