Hi,

I have a Realme C53 (RMX3760).

It was stuck on the logo and couldn’t enter recovery or fastboot, but was still detected in diag mode. I gave it to a repair shop, and after they worked on it, the phone booted again — but the model name changed from RMX3760 to ums9230_hulk_Natv.
After that:

The phone booted normally

The model number was ums9230_hulk_Natv instead of RMX3760,

And Google sign-in doesn’t work (shows “Can’t communicate with Google servers”).

I tried flashing the official Realme RMX3760export_14_C.23 firmware again using the latest SPD Research Tool (R27).
The flash completed successfully, and the phone booted up, but

The model name still shows ums9230_hulk_Natv

The Google sign-in problem still exists...

Please help me!!!!

Please help me!!!!

ums9230_hulk_Natv being displayed is just the variant of the firmware flashed and not a big deal.
The real issues are
1. Google server connection issue (Could be the firmware but Have you tried mobile data instead of WiFi)
2. Flashing with SPD Research Tool, but old info remains. Did you confirm that flashing was actually successful and not end up with an error? Attach a screenshot if you can

I tried flashing using the latest SPD Upgrade Tool, but it failed with this error:

[SW2068]!!!GSM Cali in phone is not calibrated, Reserved[7]: 0x00000000, [ID=0x2]

Then I flashed the same firmware using SPD Research Tool, and it completed successfully (It showed "Passed") — phone boots fine.

But Google sign-in still doesn’t work (both Wi-Fi and mobile data).

The firmware is global...
Let's run 2 tests:
1. Can you open any other website (apart from Google) in the browser?
2. Install and activate a VPN then retry the Google sign in .

If VPN doesn't help then you either flash a higher firmware or install different Gapps (if you can root)
