(10-10-2024, 11:03 AM)maxpayne According to this error https://www.hovatek.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=11813
I suspect you didn't follow the instructions in the video. Probably you didn't click  Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

You are right, I did not click on Let me pick...
So, now when I do that, I go to this place in the folders:
C:\Users\Morbac\Desktop\Qualcomm+Diag+Drivers\Qualcomm Diag Drivers
and I am proposed a lot of different models

But from all this list I don't see any reference to a Diag driver. When I read the procedure, I should have a Qualcomm HS-USB Android DIAG 901D

What to do next?
Is there anything relating to 901D on the list?

No, no reference about 901D, or about Diag.

On the other hand I explored the other folders and I found exactly Qualcomm HS-USB Android DIAG 901D in the following folder:
C:\Users\Morbac\Desktop\Qualcomm+Diag+Drivers\Qualcomm Diag Drivers\qcser.inf_amd64_da2bdde674bc3d1e
Is it ok to use it, although there is a reference to amd64 in the name of the folder? My PC has an Intel one.

You can use it
So, great news: I now see the Qualcomm HS-USB Android DIAG 901D in Device Manager. For this I did not flash this one:
fastboot flash boot_a patched_vsmart.img
because I was losing the su mode.
I finally have been able to recover IMEI and base band. Thank you both.
Now, next issue. I try to flash the original firmware, and I am blocked with this:
.png
not match.png
Size: 24.32 KB / Downloads: 85

The phone is indeed a BQ Aquaris X2. What can I try?

I already removed su and Magisk. The phone was able to do an OTA update. But same error when I try to flash the original firmware.

From this point https://www.hovatek.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=11824, you're supposed to choose Have Disk then select the Diag driver I'd linked in my previous post. You could also select Diag driver from the list if the manual driver fails
