Hey there... I was looking for a way to install an os that can run on oldest Android phone with 1ghz dual core cpu (mediatek) running on Android 4.4.2 , 512Mb Ram...it lags as hell...So I was looking for an os that'll completely remove Android and install it like when we install Windows ...Is there any way to do That? There is no custom rom for this device...also no gsi as it's Android 4.4.2
... device is currently switched off...no one use it...so I was trying to give it a new life with like linux os or very lightweight os...no apps needed only browsing.. it has also root permission completely

You have to consider the hardware also for drivers. KaiOS?

You have to consider the hardware also for drivers. KaiOS is like the closest I can think of and even that looks really difficult if possible.
You could also debloat then install a lightweight launcher
