Hello everyone,

I have flashed my "unlocked" tablet with MIFlash from stock miui 14.0.5.0 global to 14.0.8.0 global with MIFlash (with "clean all and lock" option).
The process finished succesfully, but then the tablet died :-( It is left in fastboot mode and locked.

Nothing works apart fastboot, I cant restart in recovery, I cant restart in EDL, adb doesnt work. Only fastboot.
To restart in edl I tried different methods, but none of them worked:

fastboot oem edl
fastboot reboot-edl
keeping pressed vol+ and power
keeping pressed vol- and power
keeping pressed vol+ and vol- and power

MIFlash doesnt work anymore because it detect my tablet as locked
MIUnlock doesnt work becasue it tells me to add my device in the specific setting but of course I cant access my tablet anymore.

I also had a look at the QFIL tool but as I cant enter EDL then the tablet is not recognized as Qulacom, always this damn "android bootloader" and this damn orange "fastboot" writing on the screen.

the only thing I didnt try is to open the tablet for the test point.

Is there any advice? Is it possible to bring my new tablet back to life

thanks in advance

You should avoid relocking your bootloader especially after modifying the firmware. Reflashing the firmware doesn't seem to help.
Your best bet would be to somehow unlock the bootloader in EDL mode

Thank you for your reply

Yes I understood that I should enter in EDL.
The problem is that no matter what I do I cant do.
Maybe some tools or other key combinations.
No idea

Thanks in advance for any idea about how to enter edl!!

Cheers
