BROM ERROR : S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)
[BROM] Can not pass bootrom start command! Possibly target power up too early.

ensure the phone is switched off with battery in it then hold volume increase button before connecting to PC for flashing

That's exactly what I've been doing oh. As a matter of fact, that's the only way I can get my pc to recognise the phone.

re-install vcom drivers usingĀ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-440.html then try again
consider using another USB cord and PC
