This guide will explain how to generate an SHSH2 blob file for your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV, MAC Book, etc. This file is required to downgrade your iOS software version to an older unsigned version.

This guide is for devices with A11 and below chips

Requirements

  • Telegram
  • Setup iTunes on your PC
  • Internet connection
  • Find out your board config using an app like AX-CPU
  • iOS device and cable

Steps to generate shsh2 blob file for your Apple device


Follow the steps to generate the shsh2 signing blob for your iOS device

  1. Launch iTunes and connect the device to the PC, allow / trust when prompted on PC and device

  2. Click the phone icon at the top left corner

  3. Under your device's model, click Serial Number twice

  4. It should change from Serial Number to UDID then ECID. Copy the ECID

  5. If your ECID is all numbers then it's in decimal and you need to convert it to hexadecimal using any decimal-to-hexadecimal converter

  6. Click ECID and it should change to Model Number, take note of this too

  7. Head over to https://t.me/rJailbreakBot and open the bot on Telegram

  8. Send a command

    Code:

    /shsh

  9. Select your model

  10. Select board config (if prompted)

  11. Select the iOS version you wish to generate an shsh2 blob for

  12. Enter your ECID

  13. You should be presented with a link to the SHSH2 blob, download and keep


Important Notice
  • Websites to generate shsh2 blob files are https://shsh.host/ and https://tsssaver.1conan.com/v2/
  • SHSH2 blobs are device-specific so you can't use someone else's blob even if both are of the same model
  • The blob file needs to be generated before upgrading to a higher version
  • No Jailbreak is required for this guide
