Do I need to to flash vbmeta with this? Also is it necessary to unlock the bootloader, if yes, how can I do that? (Fastboot method is not working)

Flash the patched boot.img after that.
I successfully unlock the bootloader and flashed vbmeta, now my phone is displaying vbmeta_corrupt; i've tried flashing back the stock vbmeta_a but i'm still stuck with the same error message and a bootloop

When i reboot to this recovery, the touch screen is not responding.

I'm stuck in a bootloop so i can't take any screenshoot.
I unlocked the bootloader, flashed the patched_boot(twrp) file and empty vbmeta which resulted in displaying a "dm_verity corrupt" message asking me to press the power button to continue, when i do that, the phone boots straight to fastboot. I decided to flash all my backup(A slot), this process relocked the bootloader and the phone has been in bootloop since.
